| Poet, born in Lviv, W Ukraine (formerly Lwow, Poland). His first collection was Struna swiatla (1956, Chords of Light). Later volumes include Studium przedmiotu (1961, Study of the Object), Pan Cogito (1974, Mr Cogito), and Raport z oblezonego miasta (1983, Report from a Besieged City). He had also written plays which have been broadcast in Poland and abroad. |
