| Roman king from 1247. After the death of Heinrich Raspe, he was nominated anti-king to Frederick II (3 Oct 1247) and crowned (1 Nov 1248) in Aachen. After the death of Konrad IV he became widely recognized. He died in battle against the Fresians near Alkmaar. |
