| Golfer, born in Monahans, Texas, USA. The most successful woman golfer to date, she has won all the women's major events on the US circuit except the US Open. She turned professional in 1958, and won the US Ladies Professional Golf Association Championship three times: in 1967, 1971, and 1975.
