| Cartoonist, born in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA. He studied at Kenyon College (1980), where he had done political cartooning, and then spent five years trying to find his niche. Starting in 1985 he produced the syndicated newpaper comic strip, Calvin and Hobbes, featuring a mischievous six-year-old boy and his toy tiger come-to-life. |
