| Psychologist, management educator, and consultant, born in New York City, New York, USA. Trained as an economist, he had a varied academic career (including the presidency of the University of Cincinnati (1971–7) before joining the University of Southern California's management faculty (1980). He became well known as a consultant to major corporations. He developed behaviourist-based management theories in his numerous books on leadership and organizational development and change. |
