| Player of American football, born in Columbia, Mississippi, USA. In his career with the Chicago Bears (1975–88), he rushed for 16 726 yards, a National Football League record. In one game (1977) he rushed for a record 275 yards. His 110 rushing touchdowns were a record at the time of his retirement in 1988. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1993. |
