| Broadcast journalist, born in Brookline, Massachusetts, USA. He studied at the University of Michigan and entered broadcasting on a Michigan radio station. Hardest-hitting of the adversary interviewers, he won fame with ABC's Mike Wallace Interview (1957–60), later becoming the mainstay for the long-running CBS TV news magazine, 60 Minutes (1968). |
