| Prussian Queen and German Empress, born in London, UK, the eldest daughter of the British Queen Victoria. In 1858 she married the Prussian Crown Prince Frederick Wilhelm who, as Frederick III, was German Emperor for 99 days in 1888 before he died. The liberally educated Viktoria strongly criticized the authoritarian and anti-British politics of her son Wilhelm II. She died at Schloß Friedrichshof near Kronberg. |
