| biography:
| Poet and literary critic, born in Rome, Latium, Italy. A French literature scholar, he made his debut as poet at the Castelporziano poetry festival in the late 1970s. Acknowledged as the most accomplished poet of his generation, he focuses on the strangeness and the inexplicability of objects, and interrogates the world and tries to transform it in the light of intelligence. His works include Ora serrata retinae (1980), Nature e venature (1987, Natures and Veinings), and Esercizi di tiptologia (1992, Exercises in Typtology). |
