| Multimedia artist, born in London, UK. She gained attention with her controversial entry for the 1999 Turner Prize, ‘My Bed’. The exhibit, a dishevelled bed with soiled sheets and debris, was later bought by art collector Charles Saatchi. In 2001 her solo exhibition, ‘You Forgot to Kiss My Soul’, opened at the White Cube Gallery in London. It included sculptures, embroidered blankets, drawings, photographs, a video, and some work in neon. |
