| Writer, born in Santarcangelo di Romagna, Emilia-Romagna, E Italy. He worked as a scriptwriter with some of Italy's major film directors, including Fellini, Rosi, and Antonioni (L'avventura, 1960). His poems in the Romagna dialect include I Scarabocc (1946), I bu (1972), and Il viaggio (1986). Other works include the novel Dopo i leoni (1956) and a travelogue La pioggia tiepida (1984). |
