| Poet and psychologist, born in Stockholm, Sweden. He studied at Stockholm University, then worked as a psychologist, including a spell at Roxtuna institution for young offenders. His first collection of poems, 17 dikter (1954, 17 Poems), aroused attention, and he has become a leading poet of the post-war era. His 10 collections of poems have been translated into English by Robin Fulton in Three Swedish Poets (1970), Selected Poems (1974), and Collected Poems (1987). |
