| Painter, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. He studied psychology at Cincinnati University before taking art courses. In 1961 he moved to New York City, abandoning the abstract expressionist style and turning to Pop Art. Most of his paintings depict overtly erotic female nudes in contemporary American environments; these works form the series known as ‘The Great American Nude’. |
