| Singer, songwriter, and actor, born in Pomona, California, USA. He had a critically acclaimed debut album, Closing Time (1973), and ‘Jersey Girl’ from his 1980 album Heartattack and Vine became an integral part of Bruce Springsteen's concerts. His soundtrack album from the film One From the Heart (1982) was Oscar nominated. His biggest chart success was the number 3 hit for Rod Stewart, ‘Downtown Train’ (1990). He has appeared in a number of films, including The Fisher King (1991) and Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992), and in 1995 released ‘Earth Dies Screaming’ from the soundtrack album of the film Twelve Monkeys. |
