| Writer, born in Rome, Latium, Italy. The son of Luigi Pirandello, he wrote poems and the novel Il muro in casa (1935), but wrote mainly for the theatre. His plays, Un padre ci vuole (1936), L'innocenza di Coriolano (1939), and La scuola dei padri (1955), have family conflict as their main theme, dealt with in strong dramatic tones. |
