| Armenian clergyman and martyr, born in Sebastia, Cappadocia. Made Bishop of Sebastia, he is said to have suffered martyrdom during a period of persecution. Woolcombers claim him as their patron, and he is invoked in case of throat trouble and cattle disease. Feast day 3 February. |
