| Economist, born in Lodz, C Poland (formerly Russia). Initially educated in China, he completed his studies in the USA. He taught at several universities, moving to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1958. He is the co-inventor of the Harrod–Domar model of dynamic equilibrium in economic growth. |
