| Writer, born in Genoa, Liguria, NW Italy. He began with works characterized by stylistic experiments (Disfaso, 1968; Tempo di massacro, 1970), but then turned against the avant-garde in the 1980s in favour of an explorative historical narrative, producing Abitare il vento (1980), La notte della cometa (1984) on the life of poet Dino Campana, and the homage to Manzoni, La chimera (1990). |
