| Writer, born in Trieste, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, NE Italy. He moved to Florence in 1908 and was a contributor to the review La Voce. An irredentist, he strongly supported Italy's intervention in World War 1 and enlisted as a volunteer, eventually dying in battle. His love for his native land permeates the autobiographical Il mio Carso (1912). |
