| Footballer, born in Saudi Arabia. In his second season with Al Hilal (1988), he finished top goal scorer of the club's youth championship-winning team. From August 2000 he spent five months on loan with English side Wolverhampton Wanderers, but was injured for much of the time and returned to Al Hilal. He is an integral part of his country's squad, which qualified for the 1994 and 1998 FIFA World Cup finals, and is expected to go down in Saudi Arabian football history by participating in his third World Cup finals. |
