| Theologian, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. Professor of applied theology at Garrett–Evangelical theological seminary, Evanston, she has written extensively on women and theological issues. Her books analyse the effects of male bias in official Church theology, and seek to affirm the feminine dimension of religion and the importance of women's experience. They include Sexism and God-Talk (1983). |
