| Theatre director, playwright, and actor, born in the Ardèche, E France. He founded a theatre company in a disused printing works in Lyon in 1952, moving to the Théâtre de la Cité in Villeurbanne in 1957. His company was the recipient of the title, subsidy, and touring obligations of the Théâtre National Populaire in 1972. |
