| biography:
| Pianist and composer of light music, born in Paris, France. He received first prize at the Conservatoire aged 16, and accompanied Johnny Hallyday and Michel Sardou. His first international success was ‘Ballade pour Adéline’, which inaugurated a series of albums with adaptations of Beethoven, Gershwin, Paul Anka, and Maurice Jarre. He became known outside France after working with Andrew Lloyd Webber on ‘Delphine’. |
