| Sculptor, born in Buntingford, Hertfordshire, SE England, UK. He studed architecture, taught at the Architectural Association School in London (1937–9), then practised as an engineer (1939–50). He turned to sculpture in 1951, and soon became recognized as one of the leading exponents of ‘linear’ constructions in wrought iron, but in his later years turned to a more realistic style. |
