| biography:
| Christian poet, born in Caesaraugusta, Spain. He practised as a pleader, acted as civil and criminal judge, and afterwards received high office at the imperial court. In his later years he devoted himself to the composition of religious poetry, including Cathemerinon liber, a series of 12 hymns, and Hamartigeneia, on the origin of evil. |
