| Poet, born in Narbonne, S France. A prolific writer, he began in Montmartre, proclaimed Surrealism, and retired in 1925 close to the Abbey of Solesmes. His work includes Poèmes en prose (1915), Les Ardoises du toit (1918), La Guitare endormie (1919), Les Epaves du ciel (1924), Ecumes de la mer (1926), Pierres blanches (1930), and Le Chant des morts (1948). He also published his notebooks, Le Livre de mon bord (1948). |
