| Architect, born in Dijon, E France. He published a treatise Manière de bien bastir pour toutes sortes de personnes (1623), later enlarged (1647) as an updated version of Ducerceau's first book. His most famous building is the Hôtel Tubeuf, now part of the Bibliothèque Nationale, Paris. |
