| biography:
| Scriptwriter, born in Madrid, Spain. He began his film career aged 16 as an extra in the Estudios Chamartín, where he worked his way up to production assistant. In 1953 he started writing scripts with Rafael J Salvia, producing Aquí hay petróleo (1955), Manolo, guardia urbano (1956), El puente de la paz (1957), and Las chicas de la Cruz Roja (1958). He also worked with other directors, notably Vicente Coello and Antonio Vich. His many film scripts include La gran familia (1963, director Fernando Palacios), Un millón en la basura (1967, director José María Forqué), 127 millones libres de impuestos (1981), and Puente aéreo (1981), both directed by Rafael Azcona. He has also co-written the popular television series Anillos de oro (1983), Segunda enseñanza (1985), and Brigada central (1989). |
