| Water skier, born in Nantes, W France, who has won the most titles both as a water skier and a sportsman. In 1978, aged 14, he was European champion. His record includes eight world individual championships and 25 European championships including slalom and combined, and a record six overall world championships. Up to now he has broken 23 world records. He announced his retirement in 2001. |
