| biography:
| French poet, born in Lithuania. Deeply affected by the suicide of his father, his work recalls his love for a destroyed past. Titles include Poèmes des Décadences (1899), Les Sept solitudes (1907), L'Amoureuse initiation (1910), and Les Arcanes (1927). From a universe influenced by Poe and Baudelaire, he passed on to a mystical vision inspired by the Apocalypse. |
