| Publisher, born in Heidelberg, SWC Germany. He moved to London in 1843, started up his business in 1852, and developed a business connection in the USA. An oriental scholar, he published a series of oriental texts as well as works for the Early English Text Society. The business was merged in 1889 to become Kegan Paul, Trench, Trübner & Co. |
