He is one of the most important proponents of concrete poetry, a literary genre he also helped to found, and has written several literary essays on the theory of the genre. Other works include the play Spiel Hölle (1962), the experimental novel Herzzero (1968), and Hören und sehen vergehen... (1978), considered his major work. |
