| biography:
| Catalan painter, born in Barcelona, NE Spain. He studied medicine and then attended the Acadèmia Lliure de Pintura in Barcelona. He produced remarkable watercolours and book illustrations, and co-founded the journal Dau al Set to which he also contributed. In 1959 he was awarded the Gran Premi de la Biennal de São Paulo and the Premi Internacional de Pintura Abstracta de Lausana. He has exhibited at the Museum of St Pierre of Lyon, and at the museums of art in New York, Vienna, Israel, and Madrid. |
