| Actor, comedian, writer, and director, born in Scarborough, Ontario, SE Canada. In 1988 he became a comedian on the television programme Saturday Night Live, where he introduced the character ‘Wayne Campbell’. He took the character to the big screen in the film Wayne's World (1992) which proved an unlikely smash hit. Later films include So I Married An Axe Murderer (1993), Wayne's World 2 (1993), three Austin Powers movies (1997, 1999, 2002), and Mystery, Alaska (1999). |
