| Lawn bowler, born in Kenton, Middlesex (now Greater London), SE England, UK. A world champion bowler, she won six medals in 1981 at the World Championships, including gold in the fours and team event. In 1982 she won a bronze medal at triples in the Commonwealth Games, and was runner-up in the World Indoor Singles in 1989. She won a total of 11 English titles, and represented England internationally for 33 successive years. She served as president of the English Women's Indoor Bowling Association (1989–90). |
