| German mouth-organ manufacturer. In 1857 he established his firm at Trossingen, Württemberg. His five sons added music publishing (1931), the manufacture of accordions, harmonicas, saxophones, and (from 1945) electrical musical instruments, and established an accordion school at Trossingen in 1931, thus making the family business the biggest of its kind. |
