| Writer, born in Groningen, N Netherlands. He entered into a literary partnership with Van Weelden for some years. Their work included Terugwerkende kracht (1991, Retroactive Force), a reconstruction of World War 2 by means of a collage of a wide-ranging variety of texts, and a collection of their columns for the Parool newspaper. Bril wrote two novels, which received less critical acclaim than the fruit of his partnership with Van Weelden, and the autobiographical novel De mooiste baby van de hele wereld (1993, The Most Beautiful Baby of the World). |
