| biography:
| Luxembourg skier, of Austrian origin, multi-talented in his field. He was World Cup winner in the classement général (1985, 1986, 1989, 1991, 1993), the only skier to have done this five times, and World champion in the combined event (1987, 1989, 1996) and the slalom (1991). He gained two silver medals in the 1992 Olympic games (giant slalom and the Super G). |
