| Artist and writer, born in London, UK. She studied at Heatherley's and other art schools, and married cartoonist Harold Earnshaw. She was noted for her child studies, both humorous and serious, with which she illustrated her own and other stories for children. Her immensely popular ‘cherubic’ style was continued in annuals and children's books by her daughter, working under her mother's name. |
