| Sculptor, painter, and video artist, born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, USA. She studied at Sophie Newcomb College, New Orleans (1960–4), the Brooklyn Museum Art School (1964–5), and is based in California. A feminist artist and educator, she is known for her sculptural work, such as ‘Bounce’ (1969), and twisted metallic knot forms, as in ‘Elnath’ (1984). |
