| Journalist and writer, born in Sanremo, Liguria, NW Italy. He worked for the satirical paper Capitan Fracassa before founding Don Chisciotte in 1887. His fame rests on the short stories La famiglia De Tappetti (1903) featuring the life of a middle-class provincial family. Other works include Diana ricattatrice (1886), La signora Cagliostro (1894), and Dieci monologhi (1909). |
