| Goldsmith, medallist, and sculptor, born in Arezzo, NC Italy. He worked in Milan, Genoa, Brussels, and Madrid, and was the rival of Benvenuto Cellini. His portrait medals often depicted well-known artists, such as Michelangelo, and his bronze busts, particularly of Charles V and Philip II, had a significant influence on Spanish sculpture. |
