| Writer and parodist, the brother of Ronald Knox and uncle of Penelope Fitzgerald. He joined the staff of Punch in 1921 and became editor (1932–49), contributing articles under his pseudonym. His best work was republished in book form, and includes Parodies Regained, Fiction As She Is Wrote, It Occurs to Me, Awful Occasions, Here's Misery, and Folly Calling. |
