| Writer and lecturer, born in Orange, New Jersey, USA. After 10 years as a professor of organizational behaviour, he founded his own San Diego–based training and development company (1978). His One-Minute Manager (with Spencer Johnson, 1982) inaugurated a series of best-selling books and seminars promoting managerial effectiveness through the mastery of a few quickly acquired skills. |
