| biography:
| Naval officer, born in Rome, Latium, Italy. He was a submariner and leader of the X MAS flotilla during World War 2, and headed the repression of the partisan movement. After the war he became a member of the MSI (Italian Social Movement) and in 1967 founded the extreme right-wing movement Fronte nazionale (National Front). He escaped to Spain after becoming involved in a failed coup. |
