| Psychologist, born in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. She studied at Northwestern University and married rabbi and psychoanalyst Richard E Singer in 1939. 20 years later, she did graduate work in psychology at the Jung Institute and conducted a private practice in psychology (from 1962). She was associated with the Virginia Frank Child Development Center in Chicago and wrote several books on Jungian psychology, including Androgyny: Toward a New Theory of Sexuality (1976). |
