| Actress, born in Madrid, Spain. Daughter of the actor Pascual Caba and actress Irene Alba, she began her acting career with the play La señorita Angeles. Her breakthrough into films came with El crimen de la calle de Bordadores (1946), directed by Edgar Neville, with whom she was later to work many times. She received several awards, including the Medalla de Oro del Círculo de Bellas Artes (1959), and among her many films are Don Quijote de la Mancha(1947, director Rafael Gil), Noventa minutos (1949, director Antonio del Amo), and Los ángeles del volante (1957, director Ignacio F Iquin). She also worked in television, achieving great success towards the end of her life with Los pajaritos. |
