| Badminton player, born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, C Canada. The winner of the singles title at the All-England Championships a record 10 times (1954, 1957–8, 1960–4, 1966–7), she also won seven doubles titles - six with her sister, Susan Peard (1940– ). She was a member of the US Uber Cup-winning teams in 1957, 1960, and 1963. Her Irish-born father, Frank Devlin (1899–1988), won 18 All-England titles. |
