| Baseball player, born in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA. A highly proficient batter, he is recognized as the greatest third baseman to date, becoming the first man to hold every record for his position - assists, putouts, double plays, and fielding average. He won the Golden Glove in that position for 15 consecutive years from 1960, and was named as the American League's Most Valuable Player in 1964 and the MVP of the 1970 World Series. |
