| Economist, born in Gary, Indiana, USA. He completed his PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology at age 24, and went on to teach at several universities before settling at Princeton (1979). He is known best by other economists for his highly technical analysis of the competitive process. He shared the Nobel Prize for Economics in 2001 for the analysis of markets with asymmetric information.. |
